Biography

I was born in Manhattan, and came back to Wellington, New Zealand where I started primary school. I spent five years in Brisbane, Australia, before returning to Wellington to complete secondary school. After graduating from university in Wellington, I worked for the NZ Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries for a few years. In 1991, on the way to the UK for work and travel, I had seven months cycle touring and trekking in India and Nepal, mostly in the Himalayas. After five years based in Scotland, where I got married, we returned to New Zealand in late 1995. Both of our children were born here. I joined Egressive in 2006 and became a director in 2007.
