Egressive offers development services in the following areas and will be happy to help you work through your specific requirements to give your web development focused and direction.

Egressive has developed a standard install that we use as base for all our web development called Egressive Standard Drupal.

Websites

A web site is usually a collection of content that is accessible to the public and provides them with content that is of use in some way. Egressive uses the Drupal content management system to build web sites for customers as its modular approach allows us to provide a wide range of web functionality based on customer requirements.

While the options for web development vary based on specific requirements, common examples of the types of web sites we build include: service promotion for businesses; e-commerce sites that allow people to sell goods and services, and web sites that connect to or encompass a special purpose application.

Intranets

An intranet is usually a web site that is only visible within an organisation or to a select community of practice. An intranet built using the Drupal content management system is essentially a web site with permissions that restrict access to certain types of users. Many businesses and organisations begin with a web site and then build in intranet functionality.

If you require internal document management, communication, rostering/calendar systems you likely require an intranet.

Special Purpose Applications

Organisations and businesses often have a specific point of difference that they offer to their customers and this offering can often be facilitated using a web based system. Specific Purpose Applications are often similar to a web site or intranet in that they can be publically or privately accessible but have a very specific focus and form part of a bigger system.

Examples of these types of application are: internal ordering systems, business-to-business systems, calculators, forms.

Integrated Web Services

Specialised systems, web or desktop, that are already up and running in a business can be integrated with web solutions to create a stable environment for staff and customers for perform a wider range of tasks. Business-to-business and Point of Sale are examples of systems that can be integrated with a web based system.
