NZ Open Source Awards

We are very proud to announce that Egressive was honoured with an award at last night's second annual Open Source Awards in Wellington.

Egressive and Dave Lane received the award in the category "Best Use of Open Source in Business". The other category finalists and winners are listed on the NZOSA site.

Egressive was also pleased to have the opportunity (and wherewithall) to help sponsor the event along with Google, Red Hat, Catalyst, Ingres, Sun Microsystems, InternetNZ, the NZ Open Source Society, Open Systems Specialists (OSS), and Novell.

Many thanks to Chris Daish, the Honourable David Cunliffe (Minister for ICT), Mark Cubey (RadioNZ), the other presenters, and the many others who together provided the NZ open source software community with a brilliant evening celebrating the substantial kiwi contributions to this stunning global effort.
