Egressive People Happenings

We've been so busy over the past few months, that I (Dave) haven't had time to officially welcome on board

  • Andrew Turner - our new developer and all-around go-to man. Andrew, who finished his studies in Computer Science at Canterbury in October, shifted from occasional to full-time work on all sorts of hard-core tech tasks varying from Ubuntu Virtual Machine wrangling to HTTP debugging, system profiling, and of course, Drupal web application development. He brings a wealth of computing knowledge and a sound work ethic with him, which, combined with his penchant for Twisted Ankles and Unicycling and almost spooky knowledge of minor Simpsons characters, make him a capable, often amusing, and very welcome addition to the Egressive team.
  • Cathy Young - our new accounts maven has ably taken up the reigns recently released by our supremely effective but overly fecund former accounts maven, Marisa Spear (who recently went on maternity leave for her 3rd child, Millie, who joined sisters Bella and Phoebe, on 4 November!). Cathy is overseeing various refinements to our internal invoicing processes. In the course of carrying out her many duties with ruthless efficiency, we expect her to be cruel but fair.
  • Rob Fraser - many of you already know Rob very well thanks to his tireless efforts on behalf of our many customers. We are delighted to announce that Rob has signed on to Egressive not only as a full-time employee but also as a substantial shareholder and Director. With Rob's high-wattage presence and influence, expect great new things from Egressive in the coming year!

Our workload is burgeoning thanks to a huge upsurge in interest in open source solutions like Drupal and Linux, so we're likely to be taking on other top people in the coming months. If you think you have what it takes to contribute to the Egressive team, please let us know!
