Biography:

Trained at Christchurch Institute of Technology for 3 years specialising in Systems and Networking.

Then moving into the Canterbury District Health Board for 3 years. Supporting CDHB windows desktops and CDHB vendor machines. During my time I excelled at implementing new systems through the CDHB bureaucracy. Getting a name for myself as someone who could make things happen in a historically slow system.

One of the projects I completed was for the Diabetes Centre where I upgraded their existing Precision Link for Diabetes Centre and Women Diabetes to Co-Pilot. Performed technical testing for both client and server implementations, facilitated clinical testing and performed the server upgrade and managed the risks associated. Organised, managed and performed client roll out to 50+ machines.

Another project I provided technical support on was the Inter-RAi project. Performed pilot install for older persons health patient management system. During this project I liaised with Canadian developers with regards to technical details and the faults with the system. This project went nationwide last year.

Now working for Egressive in a business support role.
